back to school

Hi there,

So where I live school started back this past Monday.  It got me thinking...what would I put in my back pack now????  First I'd say my wish list back pack itself would be Prada or LV than my iPhone, Spanish Pink lipstick by Tom Ford (perfect pale color - mentioned before).  I am also a big fan of beautiful pens and penmanship. My favorite is my silver cross pen
Maybe it's because my mom had the most beautiful handwriting.  I'm not as gifted as she but I appreciate it all the same.  It's so smooth and looks great.....Next on my list would be some cool Shades - If It was High School It would be back to reality Pit Crew Frederick MD...we love this storeback to school

Love Dinair Foundation!!!!!

Hi There,

So here are my thoughts on recent products..... the Dinair Foundation is great - you do have to work with it quickly and really moisturize but the look it gives skin is flawless - almost as if you aren't wearing makeup and it lasts all day.  I am thinking about purchasing the airbursh kit as well.  Next on the list is the Wen Haircare System.  Sorry to say not very pleased with it.  Didn't notice any difference in my hair at all and used the system for over a week.  In fact my hair did not style as well as when i use my Paul Mitchell products.  It's too pricey as well and that's coming from me a "product junkie"  It was nice to really shampoo my hair yesterday!  Finally, the Latisse will take some time to see results but I'm plugging along with it.  No bad reactions etc...  Also notice my "must of the week"  really like this cologne but $205 is more than I want to spend right now.... so I did not purchase....Oh well my "wish of the week" than.

THANKS FOR STOPPING BY,
XOXO LORI

Testing Products So You Don't Have To

Hello Love,

Oh my gosh It has been a beautiful week here.  Went to see The Knight Brothers at the Liberty Fair last night.  Had such a great time.  They really are talented and so blessed we are family friends as well.  The weather has been perfect past few days.  I wonder are if we gonna go right from Summer to Fall?  Fine with me  - you know what that means new fall clothes. YEAH!

I just received a few products that I am going to test and give you my unbiased reviews.  See below.

  • Dinair Foundation ( 2 sample kits w/out airbrush machine)
  • Wen Hair Care System
  • Latisse (which I am going to use on eye lashes and my eyebrows )

I am also going to stop by the new Farrow and Ball Showroom that opened in town - perfect timing as we are building a new home!!!!!!
*Notice the picture above of the foundations etc... on a table - took that one myself with my new Cannon camera!  It's like a mini computer inside - may take a while to get the hang of it but loving it just the same.

    More to come later today.

    Thanks for stopping by,
    XOXO LORI

Been Traveling - Busy Summer

HI!!!!!!

Just got back from a trip to the Florida Keys with part of the family.  Fishing, sunning, funning lots of stuff!  The trip was a lot of fun.  I had never been to the Keys before and didn't know what to expect.  We stayed at the Westin Resort.  It was a fine resort - probably the best in the Keys.  I dont know if we will go back to Key West.  The people were friendly enough - Sunsets were breath taking and the fishing rocked!  However not much on the culture side.  Unless you just wanna bar hop.  I suppose that has its time and place.  Not to be rude but things were pretty run down and dirty.  Just wonder about the cities programs....do they have any?  It is in need of a lot of clean up.... Just saying......  However I am grateful to have gone and mark it off my list of places I wanted to go.  I jet skied for the first time - "Wooo Lori" & we took a 3/4 day fishing charter and I caught a barracuda!!!!!!!
